Integrative Oncology Practical
Integrative oncology combines evidence-informed supportive and complementary approaches with conventional cancer care to address the whole person and improve the quality and experience of cancer treatment.
This practical course introduces participants to the principles and clinical application of integrative oncology across the cancer care continuum. It focuses on patient assessment, symptom and treatment-toxicity management, nutrition, physical activity, mind–body approaches, supportive therapies, survivorship, and patient education.
Participants will also explore how integrative interventions can be safely incorporated into multidisciplinary cancer care, with particular attention to evidence, potential interactions, contraindications, referral, treatment safety, and shared decision-making.
