Survivorship & Rehabilitation
Cancer survivorship extends beyond the completion of active treatment. Many patients experience physical, emotional, cognitive, nutritional, social, and functional challenges during and after cancer treatment.
This course provides a structured approach to cancer survivorship and rehabilitation, with emphasis on long-term follow-up, management of treatment-related effects, restoration of function, prevention of complications, health promotion, and quality of life.
Participants will explore the principles of survivorship care planning, rehabilitation assessment, exercise and physical function, nutrition, psychosocial wellbeing, fatigue, pain, cognitive changes, lymphoedema, sexual and reproductive health, return to work, and long-term monitoring.
