Paediatric and haematologic oncology focuses on the diagnosis, treatment, and supportive care of children and adults with cancers affecting the blood, bone marrow, lymphatic system, and related tissues.

This course provides a structured foundation in the principles of paediatric cancer care and haematologic oncology. Participants will explore common childhood cancers, leukaemias, lymphomas, myeloma, and other blood-related malignancies, together with essential concepts in diagnosis, treatment, complications, supportive care, and survivorship.

The course also addresses the unique clinical, developmental, psychosocial, and family-centred considerations involved in caring for children and young people with cancer.
