Immuno-Oncology is an evolving area of cancer medicine that focuses on understanding and harnessing the immune system to recognize and respond to cancer. This course provides a structured introduction to the biological principles underlying cancer immunity and the clinical application of modern immunotherapies.

Participants will explore tumour–immune interactions, mechanisms of immune evasion, major immunotherapeutic approaches, predictive biomarkers, treatment response, immune-related adverse events, and the role of the multidisciplinary oncology team in patient care.

The course also introduces current concepts in personalized and precision oncology, helping participants understand how patient characteristics and tumour biology influence immunotherapy selection and clinical management.
